Another picture I did for a drawing jam on drawingboard.org, this one had a roaring 20' girl theme. I don't think I'm done with this one though. And I sooo wish I had some inking supplies.

Just watch. I'm going back to basics with my long stagnant drawing skills in the hopes of realizing my teenage dream to become a comic books penciller. I know I have the talent...Can I stick to this and not let life get in the way?

This is a really fine drawing, Dawn. I love the swan motif you've incorporated into it.
What's funny is that I've actually been looking at Ethel Hays' and Gladys Parker's flapper cartoons recently.
It's funny because the swan idea was initially mean to simply be a design picked up from an art deco drawing. I think the original was a stylized peacock feather. Then I added the second head and back (just for balance I think) and THEN I noticed the swan motif.
It's funny how things can evolve without a person even noticing it.
I like this sweet little drawing. Would you consider allowing me to vectorize it and use it in the invitations for my 30th birthday party?
